Yes, this particular DIY has been done over and over again, but when a bride says she wants a giant pink flower for her flower girl to carry down the aisle, you say ‘yes!’ and then blog about it later!

The process I followed was from Green Wedding Shoes and added a little twist of my own…inexperience! I hurriedly made the flower only a couple of nights before the wedding and spent some of the morning of the wedding rolling the crepe petals with a makeup brush.

I was really pleased with the way it turned out and I made sure that there was more photographic evidence of this than a crime scene.

Have you tried making a Giant Paper Flower? This was my first attempt and I should have perhaps measured the height of the flower girl, but this was no matter as it only made her look cuter…if this was possible at all.
